Numpad not working in Ubuntu?

If your numpad suddenly stopped working in Ubuntu, I had a same problem and this simple solution fixed it:

Go to:
1) System / Preferences / Keyboard
2) Go to “Mouse Keys” tab
3) Un-check “Allow to control the pointer using the keyboard”
4) Done.
