Android Chrome Error code: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Following article shows you how to fix SSL connection error: Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you don’t have. Error code: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

This issue is related to proxy APN settings of your data network provider.

Access Point Name (APN) is the name of a gateway between a GPRS, 3G or 4G mobile network and another computer network, frequently the public Internet. A mobile device making a data connection must be configured with an APN to present to the carrier.

To resolve the issue, remove Proxy address and port settings from APN configuration.

Change it From:

Then stop and start your data connection and refresh Chrome url where you’ve previously experienced an issue.
