How to remove Serve.BannersDontWork.com Pop-Up Ads (step by step instructions)

Ads from serve.bannersdontwork.com invaded your Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer? This is how you can manually remove serve.bannersdontwork.com Pop Up Ads from your PC.

I’ll keep it as easy as possible. Follow these steps:
– Download Autoruns for Windows from the following url:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
– Unzip content of the downloaded file and execute autoruns.exe
– Stay in the default ‘Everything’ tab, then press Ctrl-F (or select File/Find from the top menu)
– In the search menu type in: Yontoo and press Find Next
– Keep searching and deleting all entries which include the word: Yontoo
– Once done, close Autoruns for Windows

– Open Windows Task Manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL or right click on the task bar and select Task Manager)
– Go to Processes and find the process called YontooDesktop.exe*32
– Righ click it and select End Process
– Close Windows Task Manager

– Open Windows Explorer and navigate to: C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\
– Permanently delete the folder called: Yontoo (highlight it then press Shift-Del together)

– Open Windows Explorer and navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\
– Permanently delete the folder called: Yontoo (highlight it then press Shift-Del together)

– As a last step:
– Chrome: click on the Settings icon, and navigate to Tools -> Extensions, click Uninstall for all extensions you don’t recognize or no longer need
– Firefox: navigate to Tools -> Add-ons, remove all add-ons you don’t recognize or no longer need

– Optional Step: Download Free version of CCleaner from ccleaner.com and run Registry cleaner and Cleaner options, removing all unecessary registries and cookies from your computer.

– Reboot computer
