Following procedure will walk you through process of rooting your LG G3 into an un-tethered jailbreak for LG G3 android phones. Once done, you'll gain a full administrator access to LG G3 and will be able to run apps that require root.

Note: These instructions were tested on Windows 8.1 64bit and LG G3 F400S - 4.4.2 10G (should also work on: F400K/L/S - 4.4.2 10A/10B models). Step by step Windows instructions for LG G3 F400S - 4.4.2 10G:
- On LG G3 device enable USB debugging first. If you don't know how to do so, I've published a simple to follow instructions here: [How to Enable USB Debugging on LG G3](http://www.joe0.com/2014/07/13/how-to-enable-developer-mode-usb-debugging-mode-on-lg-g3-f400-f400s-f400k-f400l/)
- Now connect LG G3 to your windows computer using USB cable
- Download [3.11 driver](http://tool.xcdn.gdms.lge.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=STsLeI24273250272504102) (LGUnitedMobileDriver_S50MAN311AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.11.3.exe), install it by double clicking exe file and accept RSA fingerprint(for ADB) on LG G3's screen:

- Command prompt will open and this is what you should see:
- Press any key and you should see a following screen in command prompt:
- At this point LG G3 should have rebooted and you'll be on following LG G3 screen (screenshot below). Now switch to your phone. Use volume buttons (back of the device), select option: Apply update from ADB and press the power button.
- Sideload mode should now be enabled and you'll see a following message on your LG G3 phone:
- Continue with the Windows batch script and you'll see this message on your Windows computer:
- Assuming all went well, at this point your LG G3 phone should be fully unlocked and you'll see a following screen:
- You're done! Reboot LG G3, your phone is unlocked.
